In Need of Assistance | The Frank Foley Education Support Fund Assist the Renovation of a Six Unit Classroom Block at R.C Boys School in Hohoe

Mon, 23 Apr, 2018

The Frank Foley Foundation, with support from Ghana Schools Online seeks your help to raise an amount of fifteen thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢15,000) to roof and paint a dilapidated six unit classroom block at the Roman Catholic Boys School in Hohoe in the Volta Region of Ghana.

The roofing of the classroom block which was swept away by a recent rainfall has caused a huge setback in academic work at the school. This situation if not quickly remedied will serious affect hundreds of pupil and the academic performance of the school in general.

The renovation (roofing and painting) is expected to cost approximately fifteen thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢15,000). The Frank Foley Education Support Fund has made available as seed money one thousand Ghana cedis (GH¢1,000) with the hope that other members of the Hohoe Community, the International Donor Community as well as other concerned individuals will come to our aid to speed up the renovation work for effective teaching and learning.

The Frank Foley Education Support Fund, is a non-governmental organization headed by Mr. Frank Foley known in the media fraternity as Fresh Man, Programmes Manager of Heritage FM and also the host of the Daybreak Volta Show on Heritage Fm 107.3MHZ. Its main agenda is to support educational institutions in Hohoe municipality in both cash and kind to uphold the need for excellent academic performance in the region.

The Frank Foley Education Support Fund was set up by Fresh Man last year when he emerged the best Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Award winner in Volta region 2017 to serve as a form of appreciation and a legacy for all.

Ghana Schools Online is happy to avail its platform to the Frank Foley Foundation towards achieving this very noble goal. We encourage you to support our collective efforts towards making the 6-classroom block at the R.C. Boys School Hohoe available for use as quickly as possible.
